Effective 31 August 2026. Last updated 31 August 2026.
Brassturn is offered to a small number of invited businesses while it is being built. These terms say what we owe you, what you owe us, and what is deliberately not promised yet.
Brassturn is provided by Lockstall LLC, trading as Brassturn. Where these terms say "we" or "us" they mean Lockstall LLC. Where they say "you" they mean the business that holds the account, and anyone you allow to use it.
Brassturn is in limited early access. That has consequences you should weigh before you rely on it: features may change or be withdrawn, data models may be rebuilt, and availability is not guaranteed. We will give reasonable notice before a change that would lose your records, but we do not commit to an uptime figure while the service is in this stage.
You are responsible for who you give access to, and for what they do with it. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been misused. Each account's estate data is held separately from every other account's.
You keep ownership of everything you put into Brassturn: your properties, your specifications, your decisions, your documents. We process it to run the service for you, as set out in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to train models.
We do use non identifying facts about the catalogue itself, such as which manufacturer part supersedes which, to improve the shared catalogue for everyone. That never includes your pricing, your clients or your commercial terms.
Brassturn records part numbers, compatibility, finishes, duties and freight rates, and it marks how each fact was established. A line marked as unverified is exactly that. Prices and availability come from manufacturers and carriers and change without our involvement.
You remain responsible for checking a specification before you order against it. Brassturn is built to show you what a claim rests on, not to relieve you of that judgement.
Do not use Brassturn to break the law, to infringe someone else's rights, to attempt access to another account's data, to probe or overload the service, or to resell access without a written agreement with us.
Early access is currently provided without charge. If that changes we will tell you in advance and you may decline and close your account. No charge will be applied to a period already used.
We aim to keep the service running and to answer support requests promptly, at info@brassturn.com. During early access we do not offer a service level agreement, and planned maintenance may occur without notice.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profit, business or anticipated savings, or for loss of data to the extent you could reasonably have kept your own copy. Our total liability in any twelve month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period, and where no fees were paid, to one hundred United States dollars.
You may stop using Brassturn and close your account at any time. Ask us and we will return your estate data in a machine readable form, then delete it as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end an account that breaches these terms, or withdraw early access, giving you reasonable notice and an opportunity to export your data unless the breach makes that unsafe.
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights we will tell the account holder by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Brassturn after that date means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, and the courts of The Bahamas have exclusive jurisdiction, without preventing either party from seeking urgent relief elsewhere.
Questions about these terms go to info@brassturn.com.
